Driving Directions To Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs Resort & Spa

From Albuquerque Sunport
From the airport, take I-25 north to 84/US-285 north. When you get close to Santa Fe, you'll have the option to continue through Santa Fe on 84/US-285 or take the bypass (599). If you don't want to stop in Santa Fe, take the bypass. Continue north into Espaņola (599 will take you right back to 84/US-285 once you pass Santa Fe). Once in Espaņola, turn left at the Dandy Burger, go over the bridge and then right onto 84/US-285. About 6 miles out, you'll see a Chevron Station on the right. Just past this is US-US-285 north (84 continues into Abiquiu and Chama). Turn right onto US-285 north and 16 miles later you'll hit Ojo Caliente. Take a left at 414 (the Ojo road) and we're a quarter mile in, at the end of the road.

From Santa Fe
From St Francis Drive (US 84/US-285) in Santa Fe, drive north 23 miles to Espaņola. Turn left at the second light in Espanola onto Truck Route 84/285, travel .8 (8/10) mile and turn right onto State Road 30. Travel .2 (2/10) mile to the intersection of State Road 30 and US-84/285 and turn Left. Continue driving north approximately 8 miles and turn Right on US-285. Proceed 16.7 miles to the intersection of Road 414 and US-285 in Ojo Caliente. Turn left onto 414. We are _ mile west at the end of the road. We are about an hour North of Santa Fe.

From Taos
Drive North out of Taos on Paseo del Pueblo Norte/ Route 64 West 27 miles to Tres Piedras and turn left at the blinking light. Continue South on US-285 for 30 miles until your reach Ojo Caliente. We are about an hour southwest of Taos at Junction 414. This route is a two-lane, paved highway.

ALTERNATE ROUTES:

From Taos or Santa Fe
From Highway 68, turn West on NM 570 in the village of Pilar (16 miles south of Taos); drive 6 miles along the bottom of the Rio Grande Gorge, through the Orilla Verde Recreation Area. You will cross the Taos Junction Bridge over the Rio Grande River where the road changes from NM 570 to NM 567. This drive is best enjoyed during daylight hours as the views are spectacular and there are no guard rails on the almost 2 miles of gravel road to the top of the gorge. Continue on NM 567, turning Left (West) going through the village of Carson for 9 miles until you reach US-285. Turn Left (South) at the stop sign onto US-285. Continue south for 10 miles to Ojo Caliente. Turn Right at Junction at 414/Los Banos Drive and we're a quarter mile in, at the end of the road.

From Taos - Rim Road
Drive North out of Taos on Paseo del Pueblo Norte/ Route 64 West 10 miles to the Rio Grande Gorge Bridge; approximately one half-mile past the bridge, turn Left (South) onto the West Rim Road (note: this is an unpaved road). Continue South on the West Rim Road for 10 miles until you reach pavement and NM 567. Turn Right (West) on NM 567; continue on 567 through the village of Carson for 9 miles until you reach US-285. Turn Left (South) at the stop sign onto US-285. Continue south 10.4 miles to Ojo Caliente. Turn Right at Junction at 414/Los Banos Drive, and we're a quarter mile in, at the end of the road.

From Colorado
Take US-285 South from Alamosa for 90 miles to 414/Los Banos Drive. Turn Right at Junction at 414 (the Ojo road) and we're a quarter mile in, at the end of the road.

Directions
